Between 1996-2000, Paul Memmott & Associates acted as the Anthropological Consultant on the Wellesley Islands Sea Claim for Andrew Chalk Solicitors on behalf of the Carpentaria Land Council. This project has drawn on Paul Memmott's 25 years of experience with the Lardil, Yangkaal and Kaiadilt peoples of the Wellesley Islands; time spent studying and recording their cultural and ethno-environmental knowledge.
